Wested 'Hero' Dark Goat update
Here's my Wested 'Hero' in Dark Goat, nearly a year old now modeled by "my plastic pal who's fun to be with" so sizing might look a little off!
Worn almost daily and generally abused has given this one a lot of wrinkles and character but the goat's that tough there's vitually no signs of wear. Some of the wrinkles are straition like in appearance, see upper arm Pic.
Enjoy

Looks like mine!
The dark goat is a lovely leather and trully as tough as nails. I even tried acetone in some spots - didn't really do anything!
I don't baby my jackets. I wear them when I work outdoors and in any weather. My goat jacket has been subjected to quite a lot without much effect. Only one or two scratches when I was trimming trees. My SL on the other hand marks very easily. I bought 6 concrete slabs for the garden at the weekend, and after carrying them into the garden my jacket was noticeably more distressed!

Very nice grain. I have the same situation with me Authentic lamb Hero. I have purposely worn it in situations where I felt I would develop some great distressing and it virtually came out unscathed. The only thing that I can see that has happened from wearing it alot is that it has settled into my body shape and fits oh-so comfy!

I tried acetone too, just made the surface tacky for a few minutes

I think this is one of the best leathers for a Raiders jacket that has been offered. I have one on order.

Re: Wested 'Hero' Dark Goat update
At any given time, Wested has quite a few different leathers in stock. IMO, this thin, dark brown goat is one of the best for a Raiders jacket. There were not many of these made. I had one, Zoltar and Whiskeyman, that I knew of.
