The felt is about the same. I was asking them to make the felt tighter, but instead they made it a little thicker. They did test the colorfastness on this run and confirm that there should be no fading. All things considered, an improvement.

If I were a feltmaker I could tell them how to pack more fur into a thinner felt. The felt is nice - on par with Winchester rabbit.

wow ! Winchester rabbit is a great felt, so i take it those hats are quite something, especially for the price.
