You might have to change that habit.... I just heard that they're trying to pass a new thing where we stop making the dollar bill and only dollar coins...apparently it'll save 35, million over the next 30 years...HA!

I have now had a week or so to compare the two. I have two of Tony's Raiders jackets - one in CS leather and one in Shrunken Lamb. Both great jackets, but as noted, both fairly heavy.

The pattern and construction on the Kelso jacket are for the most part indistinguishable from the Nowak. There are a few minor differences that I can see, but the overall appearance is the same.

The simplest explanation I can offer for the difference is that, while Tony used some really cool leathers, the striated lamb used in the Kelso jacket makes a jacket that is exactly what you hoped you were getting the first time you bought one of these things.

The only thing I can add to what others have said otherwise is the leather is extremely "moldable" if that makes sense. If you like the collar a certain way you just mold it into shape and it stays. If you want a wrinkle or crease in the sleeve, crease it and it stays. Every time you wear it the appearance improves dramatically. I imagine in a month it will look like a well cared for ten year old jacket.

Overall - put me in the "no regrets" column.
