Who made it?

Post by RayROnline »

I have looked all over this forum so, sorry if I missed a thread or post...
But can someone tell me Who made the Hero Indiana Jones shirt in #4 Crystal Skull? What (who) was Ford wearing? :-k
Feel free to redirect me if this has already been addressed.

Thanks

This shirt and pants were made by Western Costumes.

WC is a prop/costume company and past practice has been to only sell to the studios.

Your best bet on the pants would be Todds. Wested if you prefer a more LC look. Magnoli also makes custom pants & shirts.

Shirts...Todd's is supposed to be receiving a new batch, What Price Glory, Wested.

Anto shirts are correct. I heard that the costume department via Western Costume provided the fabric to Anto's to have made. I contacted Anto's awhile back and they said that they can definitely make a CS shirt for you for the $400-450 price range. However, there was no GUARANTEE that the shirt would be the same:

-fabric
-fabric color
- or made to the exact same specs (i.e. the pleats the same width, the epaulettes the same design/location on the shirt, etc)

If I had a bunch of money to burn, I'd definitely purchase one just because I haven't seen one in person made by them other than on film. So it'd be interesting to see what the "consumer" version looks likes. Otherwise, I'd recommend to venture away from purchasing one - for $450 you can buy a nice Penman hat that's guaranteed to be like the film version (after all, the guy studied under Steve, has all of Steve's "secrets", and has access to all of the same materials as Steve) whereas it's a risk to purchase a shirt from them. But if you've got money to burn, purchase one! I'd love to see one!

Wow, you did my homework, lol Thanks for that info. Basically, give us $450 and we'll make you an Indianajones shirt that may or may not be anything like what you want. What a joke. I can get 3 Magnoli's including shipping for that and still have something left over to buy a new whip holder :-k

Guess I'll stick with Magnoli, Coyles, WPG, AB, and...if I ever get one Azuma.
