NOEL HOWARD TOD JACKET

Post by thePawn »

If anyone has any current pictures of the Noel Howard TOD jackets, would you please post them. Thanks.

I've already done a search on COW looking for past posted pictures, but don't know if they have been removed or purged over time.

That's funny, I visited Noel around that time or maybe a bit after and he was adamant "NO PICTURES!"

That's interesting, because over the years we saw several photos of members who were allowed to try on the jacket for photo ops, and at Noel's insistance. :-k

Interesting man.

I really liked him. He used to send out Christmas cards to us back in the day. I think of him at this time of year just because of that kind gesture.

I miss him, he was kind and always had a twinkle in his eye.

He was concerned after prior photos had appeared on the Internet. Not sure if he was worried about Tony Powell or LFL. He told me he was "taking care of" those items for someone, presumably TP.

Not saying anyone did anything wrong, but when I visited in 06/07 he was not ok with pictures. I got to examine them, though I declined his offer to try the jacket on (I am size 52 chest).

I didn't know until after he passed, but he made the Beatles' Sgt Peppers costumes and then also two sets of replicas some time later, one set being commissioned by the surviving Beatles/families.
