I know I've asked this before, but I've never gotten a satisfactory answer: what is the purpose of the gold buckle on the back of the Raiders holster?

I think that's where they would attach a strap that would go across the front, over the shoulder, down the back and attach to the belt in the back, like an old school police Sam Browne belt. Just my guess.

Does the holster for LC look black, or dark brown. I always thought it was black, that's why I dyed my IMA holster black. This picture looks like it's black also.... and isn't ToD's holster black? A LC holster could easily substitute for ToD, couldn't it?

My opinion is brown. After obtaining an antique Webley holster, most definately.

When I think ToD holster, I think of the outside scene with the two Thugees and Indy reaches in his holster. It's "looks" black because it's supposed to be wet. Remember he just escaped all that water.

Just my thoughts.

The I.M.A Holster looks black...but a nice close-up shows that it is a nice dark-chocolate brown color, just like the one in the LC. A well-made holster at a reasonable price too!

Renderking, if I may give my opinion here. I too was going to get the IMA holster but got adviced too try and get a real one on Ebay. That was also before IMA changed their holster. It used to be brown and now it is tan from what I've seen here and its not as nicely made as it used to be. I did see Minnesotas thats been dyed black that looked good, however. But I found one for about20$ thats is an orginal, from Ebay and it looks great. But you'll probably hafts look around a bit first. But thats just my opinion.
Cheers, Alex
