Todds jacket hunt!
Howdy all, would anyone have a more recent version of the Todd's Costumes Indy jacket in xl the would like to sell? I would like to find one. I have about a 51" chest. I've heard the newer models are roomy.

I noticed they did not have any more XL's on their site. XXL though.

Interesting. I was hoping to find a second hand one to save a few bucks, but I may have to go that route. I haven't been on their web site recently, I'll have to go browse around. Thanks for the response.Texan Scott wrote:I noticed they did not have any more XL's on their site. XXL though.

Dr.JonesClone
The sizing chart on Todd's site states that the chest on a size XL is 52".
That's only going to leave you with 1" to breath. The XXL may be a better fit.

I'm a 46 and an XL Todd's fits me very well. I can't imagine an XL would fit you. However, I believe Texan Scott had an XXL in the Bazaar before the site reset.

Righto. This XXL-A is of the 2nd or 3rd generation and it best fits a 44, possibly 46. Holt has one of these as well. This is back when the sizing schemes were quirky. I have photos wearing it in the Todd's jacket thread. From page 7 is the old scheme:
Coyle's Indiana Jones Jackets
These numbers are body measurements like a tailor would take:
Sleeve : Chest : Waist
S: 33 1/2" : up to37" : up to 34"
M A: 33" : up to 40" : up to 38"
M B: 34 1/2" : up to41" : up to 38"
L: 35 1/2" : up to 45" : up to 42"
XL: 36 1/2" : up to 49" : up to 46"
XXL A: 36" : up to 48" : up to 44"
XXL B: 37 1/2" : up to 53" : up to 48"

Wow, thanks to all for the insights. Texan Scott, it sounds like yours would be too snug on me as well. I am going to check out the pic's you mentioned. I guess I need an xxl B.

I've got a question that is off topic, and, I sorry...but, where is the bazaar? It was there before the reboot and now I can't find it. Do I have to have more posts to see it?

I think I just answered my own question--I posted my 10th post again and the bazaar showed up again. Back to original post and sorry for going off topic...

Yeah, you probably lost a few posts when they had to reboot the site and we lost posts from October 7th on, making the classified sections disappear on you. We all lost posts. Glad you're back to where you were.Ranging Robert wrote:I think I just answered my own question--I posted my 10th post again and the bazaar showed up again. There is a Todd's XL that is up for auction on Ebay now, cheap. Looks like Todd is selling it.

Yes, I agree, I saw it also. I'm taking your advice and going for a xxl. I have been contacted about one and am hoping to be in it relatively soon.Oildale Jones wrote:No! Re: Todds jacket hunt!
Oildale,
That's a nice looking jacket.
I had a Todds jacket from the new batch and loved it! Beautiful leather!
Unfortunately, mine didn't fit, so I had to return it.
The sleeves in the XL were the right length but the body was too baggy. I contemplated a Large but I would have had the reverse problem - the sleeves would have been too short but the body would likely have fit.
Todds crew were awesome to deal with. They picked out a beautiful jacket, with perfect striations on the chest panel.
Hope they offer custom jackets again in the future!
Regards,
Sean

I'm looking for a Todd's XL non distressed Raiders. I have a XXL and it's just too long in the sleeves and overall length. Anyone have a XL for sale or trade? Pleeeeaase.

Beautiful jacket, Oildale.Oildale Jones wrote:This is my XL from the newest batch.
That's the first time (outside of Todd's own photos) that I've seen one of his jackets with actual rib striations.

I think you could be right. But it is the season of miracles, so I'm hopeful!
