Like I said, this was a prototype that was never put into production.

Never having seen one of the recenlty made USW A2 HH's, though, you might luck out with one of those Schott made versions in this hide. :-k

I think I'll fire off an email to Sarge and see what he says about those A2s. :TOH:

Did you ever get a reply, since this thread kind of floated back to the surface after the reboot? ;)

:anxious: I am afraid I got busy and promptly forgot all about this, but I'm glad that the reboot brought it back to the surface. I'll shoot him an email and see what he has to say and will report back. :TOH:

I don't know if the horsehides for their Cockpit Horsehide A-2s are from the same batch/tannery as the prototype USW Legend in HH, but I can confirm that their Cockpit A-2s in HH are veg tanned. Now, if you'll excuse me I need to go plan how to sneak this one past the wife. I'm sure that she won't notice one more jacket, even if it has epaulettes, knitted cuffs, and a knitted waist. Right? :anxious: :CR:

Excellent! *said in Mr. Burns' voice while steepling hands* :-k If that's the case I think I'll go ahead and get a Bill Kelso A-2 also just for comparisons sake!

That's the way I feel about my Bride's collection of black shoes. She insists they are all vastly different. To me they all look....black. :-k
