Do you have any photos you can share? I've seen them with it on the front (Belstaff comes to mind), but one with it on the back doesn't ring a bell at the moment. :-k

Fascinating...

It has stitched cuffs and reversed straps.

An interesting item for a collection, :-k but as a daily wear jacket? My vote would be no.

JMO, though.

Could be a nice novelty item. For that price are you sure it's real leather? Are there any pictures of the front or liner or tags.

I would have to think this was a promotional jacket from the movie release, but I've never seen one like it. What size is it listed as and can you get information on actual dimensions/measurements. Lots of these promotional jackets tend to fit like a tent.

I guess trash or treasure is in the eye of the beholder. I wouldn't assume it could be an 'everyday wear' jacket nor would I think it would appreciate in any real value as a collectible. I would want the above questions answered before I decided on making the purchase.

Ah, M and I were typing at the same time.

Regards,

Indiana Jeff

Thanks guys, you've confirmed my thoughts as well. Here is the ebay item number for anyone interested. There are additional pic's. I'm gonna pass. I'd feel foolish walking around wearing it.

MOD EDIT: Your ebay number was removed as per the posted rules. Unless the item is yours, ebay postings are not allowed, as there may be a member who is bidding on said item.

From the look of the front... I dunno I think it might be an old US Wings jacket that someone had embroidered, relined and the sleeves turned up and overstitched.

The embroidery looks well done TBH even though it doesn't seems to be quite centred correctly!

The pocket flaps look to long and the color is much to short to be a Wings but the leather does resemble one of their old runs. That said, I'd put my money elsewhere for the maker of this.

That COULD be one of the reals Wings or faux Wings infamous 'lottery' jackets that were awarded in several States around the U. S., if that memory cell just fired correctly. :-k

Here's a list of some of those conversations:

search.php?keywords=Wings+lottery+jacke ... mit=Search" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If I were a betting man, from the looks of the tag, I'd say this was one of the faux Florida lottery jackets that got the Florida lottery crew in deep doo-doo with Wings, as Wings had the contract, and they tried to cut corners and substitute a 'Wings wannabe' jacket in it's place. It got ugly.

The jacket given away by the Texas Lottery folks had real Wings labels inside. Note the light brown tag in this one. Not a standard Wings label.

I don't think it's a 'Lottery Jacket', this is the one one that I had and got shot of pretty rapidly! :)

My goodness, I've opened a can of worms, lol! It's not a bad looking jacket other than that logo. It would look nice hanging on the wall perhaps. ](*,)
