Those are Aldens?

Can you take a picture of the insole, where your heel sits in the shoe?

Does it have Alden written anywhere?

They look like the Indy boot without the speed lacing.

Those are very interesting. There should also be a 2 or 3 digit number on the inside like "405", "86", "946", etc....

I too would like to know more info about this shoe.

Thanks,
Pyro

Yeah if those aren't Aldens they are the closest I've ever seen  ... they're identical except for the speed-laces (and the lugged sole on the other one). Nice find!

A good shoe guy can put a sole like that on almost any pair of Aldens. I am seriously thinking about having it done to my pair down the road.

Yeah, those are Vibram soles. I was thinking of doing that to mine. But I would still stick with the 405 heels. Also I was thinking of putting gussets on the tongue to eliminate the slippage.

The shoes came today and i must say that they are the nicest pair of boots i ever owned . The fitt perfect and are very very comfortable.
Hope they are tough enough so that i can wear them many many years.
