yeah it seems interesting that she would take what was an already beautifully bashed Raiders hat and put that teardrop/c-shape center bash to it. The brim I can understand her trying to make the hat look lived-in in probably the few short moments she had it in her hands before placing it on his head. But I don't know about that center crease. Maybe she was just trying to shape it around Adam's character and personality. Who knows. But I liked the way it looked in this original picture.

Except for the front pinch, the hat looks like an amateurish attempt at creasing a Raiders hat. I, too, noticed the incorrect crown, and the brim just bothers me.

Also, there was no mention at all of Steve Delk. Not taking away from Marc, but isn't Steve the guy who actually made and submitted the hats that enabled Adventurebilt to get the contract? And then Steve made the hats for the movie? Does Adam not really know this? Apparently so.

Regardless, I enjoyed the rest of his talk. Kids should be encouraged to make things. Very few do these days. But they do have very strong thumbs thanks to those video games. And texting.

Honestly though it's one of the shows my son now wants to watch all the time and he wears that hat a lot. I knew Marc had given him a hat and I kept looking for it but I always assumed the C-dent was just another lid and not the Adventurebilt

yep, the first shot looks like a teardrop but popped out on the right side but you can still see it could be popped right back in..

Although it could be a centre crease that's just been picked up roughly and planted on with a dent at the back....It's a little hard to be sure eh? I'd suggest that since the rest of the movie goes with centre crease, that it makes more sense for it to be a mishapen centre dent than a different crease that was changed later..Since that's a proactive choice...Rather than "just a mistake"...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Hawaii shoot at the end of the filming schedule? If that's the case, most of the movie would have already been shot with the center crease so it wouldn't make sense to all of a sudden put in a teardrop crown.

Beyond that, Adam is such a great speaker.

Nice story about the hat, one question though, wasn't it Steve Delk who created AdventureBilt hat company 1st and Mark Kitter joined ranks and open the European version of AdventureBilt, estentally the same company, two different continets.

And why wasn't Steves name never brought up, I thought it was he who got the contract and they both submited hats.
Not trying to split hairs, just think Steve shoulda got some credit.

That looks like the man with no name hat from Knudsen hats which he usually wears on the show.
