Hey all,
This isn't an Indy hat, however since it's St. Patricks day, I thought I'd share some pictures of a green wool felt hat I've had for many years. It was originally a Broner "Villager" Pork Pie hat, but yesterday as I was dreaming of the Garrison Raiders hat I have coming in the next month or so I decided to re-bash my pork pie into an Indyish stingy fedora.
This was my first time re-bashing a hat but I'm pleased with the results. Just used some steam and worked it until it I got the shape I wanted.
Unfortunately I didn't take a before pic but here is what is looked like before.

Well, for the first time in my life, I can honestly say that I am green with envy over a hat !!! Why, oh why did I not think of this concept a long time ago ! That really is superb! The Green Three Leaf Shamrock award of the year is yours my friend! W>

Re: St Paddy's Fedora - My first re-bash
Thanks all
It's been great to breath new life into this hat that has just been sitting on a shelf for so long
I also got some great comments when I wore it out that day. It's funny to me because I used to wear a black wool Fedora all the time in College almost 20 years ago, but I guess it's such a rare sight now days it really takes people by surprise.
Thanks again
