I ordered some AB Alden's in Sept 2010 and having no idea what my sizing in Aldens would be was glad of Stefan's offer to figure out my size based on a scan of a tracing of my foot, seriously he went above and beyond helping me with sizing as there are no Alden dealers down here in Oz.
Well once the rest of the orders flowed in so that they could order a batch they sent that off, then the production wait, then a month of waiting for them to get here from Germany and finally they arrived today! These are the most comfortable shoes ever and I'm not sure I want to ever take them off. I'm also glad I went with the AB boots as since these are essentially a small custom run any size is possible and I have not seen the 405 boot listed anywhere for sale online in the EEE width that I need.
Hopefully the next order list fills up a little quicker for those who want to order a pair, it is definitely worth the wait though.
