How does my Wested Raiders Novapelle fit?

I was wondering how you guys think my new Wested Raiders jacket fits. Specifically in length.

Well, for a Raiders fit, I'd have to say....shorter 1 inch on the body and add 1 to 1-1/2 inches to the sleeves. Overall, it doesn't look bad.

Hard to tell from the photos (shading and angles) but I'd say it was pretty okay. The body length is fine, the sleeves I'm not sure about.

Personally, I'd want about another 1.5 inches on both the length and the sleeves. That being said, it isn't a *bad* fit. Just could be a little better IMHO.

Indy has his shirt tucked in, I expect the jacket would look much longer if your shirt was too.

Sleeves could do with being slightly longer, but they are not short-short.

Looks good, though a 'long' might feel a bit more like day to day clothing. Or perhaps go up a size.

Anyway don't wear it if you intend to send it back for a swap.

I think the jacket looks great on you. The only thing I would prefer is a little longer sleeve. You can take them out and get an extra inch. This is what I did with my last Wested. Otherwise, the jacket looks great!

does wested do this? Did you have to get entirely new sleeves and how much did that cost you if you don't mind me asking

You can have the cuff let out a bit. Which is the less dangerous route. What I will say is that Novepelle does seem to relax a bit with time so you may not have to.

Or alternately new sleeves put on. I wouldn't do this lightly as there are chances the new sleeve colour and leather thickness many not match as leather is sorted into bundles with common shade and thickness. You also have the possibility that the jacket may be weakened at the shoulder seam by re-sewing as you are essentially making another perforation line!
