Hello everyone,
Recently I purchased the 30th anniversary antique lambskin legend jacket. It is a great looking jacket but the arm holes and the sleves in the area around my bicep are too big. So big, that all the extra material sticks out to the back when I have my arms to my sides.
I am 5'10'' 150 lbs and I ordered an M. The fit around the chest is perfect but the width of the sleeves around the bicep is extremely big.
Which of the other jackets available have a more fitted size or smaller fitting around the arms and biceps? What options have other "skinny" guys used? Wested or Todd's Costume?
Thanks for the help

wested's new hero jacket is the slimmest of all jackets when it comes to biceps/armholes.
Re: Jacket sleeve size around bicep issue, best fitted jacke
Thanks for the help Holt. I am gonna get a wested hero jacket. My next issue would be the sizing of the jacket. My chest size is exactly 38 in and I regularly wear 38R although they ussually fit slightly tighter around my chest. Should I go with the 38 or the 40 jacket? Can anyone comment on their personal experiences measuring yourselves and ordering Wested Hero Jacket?
Thanks again Holt for the help

I'd say 40 as it is allready 1'' thighter in the chest as a normal standard wested would be. allways good to have alittle extra for layering. if it's still loose around the chest I would soak the jacket and shrink it in the dryer. It'll go down a half size or so depending on the time in the dryer.

If you want slim fit jacket, then go with 38. If you order 40, it may be to big in shoulders, and the slim fit look would be gone. You can email Wested about bicep area width and shoulders width and decide what size would fit you better.
If I remember correctly, 38 Hero has 20" armpit to armpit.
Cheers

With the Hero jacket, I would recommend just ordering your regular chest size.
There is about 3" extra built into the jackets over the label size.
In example, my size 42 Hero measures 22.5" from pit-to-pit, or 45" around.
Just measure your chest at it's widest point, then order the size closest to your actual measurement.

i gave them my normal measurments...even in the arm length, and was very happy with the fit.

At first I thought the sleeves on my Hero were too long, but they sit about the same as my other jackects. The slim sleeves just feel longer because there a touch restrictive round the wrist compared to the other patterns. Anyone else find this?

Regarding the US Wings Legend size M in the original post, exactly how wide IS the sleeve at the bicep?
Re: Jacket sleeve size around bicep issue, best fitted jacke
If you lay the sleeve completely flat, it has an aproximate wide of 8'' across the area of the bicep
