Ok, so I have a question. I have 4 hats, one from each film, and only 1 of them has felt like the original rabbit on the HJ. The Christy's and the Steele-Jones hats are a rougher type of felt, and my AB is beaver.
So here's my question... What hatter out there has the closest felt to the original HJ?

Magnoli had that Raiders hat...that was about as close as you can get to the real thing i think.

Did feel like thin "cardboard", not easy to manipulate. And very sensitive to water.
Our felt is closer to Garrison rabbit, only lighter in color.
Where you can find the closest to the original HJ felt (1980's brazilian Cury felt) ??? ...mmm...in a late 70's vintage HJ hat
However, my 2005 Todd's HJ is made out of a very soft felt, wich reacts similar to the film hat, IMO. And the color is perfect for Raiders, to my eyes.
