Sportsmans Guide Close-enough wool blend german officer pant

Post by RaidersBash »

Mine arrived today. They are nice, heavyweight wool/poly blend. Just a tad too straight leg for my taste, but do have pocket flaps with button closure and 8 (as opposed to 7) belt loops, clasp front closure and pleats (I'll have to iron out the creases).

3 pairs for under $20

Yeah...IDK, mine DON'T have that.

Also, they come pre-hemmed at about 2' but mine are long, 34x32

How did this thread get so derailed?

I guess I need to put up some pics of THE REAL pants this thread is about and not the WTF pants in the other link. ](*,)

I've grown weary of trying to get Sportsmans Guide's (very cool) surplus clothing to fit me. I'm a 36 waist pretty much across all brands, but their "L" size is never large enough. What size is your waist, and what size did you order? It' discouraging. I'm having to send back a gorgeous pure wool pair of size Large riding jodhpurs that are about a 33 waist with calves that would fit Twiggy.

I'd probably end up wetting myself trying to get those Italian WTF pants open.

That was my fault. Sorry, I just couldn't believe those other pants. Now, I am curious on yours. Is the colour pretty much like the one you posted from the cataloge and when you say heavyweight fabric -- just how heavy? Darned good looking pants. I am just interested in the acutal product. Thanks. W>
