Wings Legend Import Steerhide...EDIT- Got One!
I perused the old thread on this jacket (the 'pockets' on the longs thread)-but haven't seen anything recent on the Import Legend Steerhide in a while.
How are these looking after some wear? How is the fit/pattern of the import- still confused on that one. Also, close up and outdoor pics of the leather would be appreciated.

I've got one... in the bazaar! The fit is much better than the other Wings models, at least for me... but I am just too use to custom made jackets.

Re: Wings Legend Import Steerhide...who's got em?
well...nobody wanted to play, so I ordered one Saturday! It just came in- I have finally found the leather for the Indy jacket I've been looking for! It is fabulous. Perfect color, grain, weight...and the fit screams Raiders to me- snugger than their 'signature' jackets I'm used to.
Unfortunately, I must have gotten one of the first versions with the 'high' pockets. seen in this thread viewtopic.php?f=2&t=50079&hilit=legend+import
I emailed Sarge about switching it for version 2.0 with the lower pockets, he answered personally in 15 minutes and said he'd take care of it himself. I've always had good service from Wings.
Here's the jacket before boxing it up...

I’m really pleased with my US Made US Wings Steer Hide jacket. I’m 6’1” which is kind of on the border between a Regular and a Long. I initially ordered an XL Long which turned out to be too long on me, so I exchanged it for an XL Regular. I’m much happier with the sleeve length of the Regular which comes to just the top of my thumbs, you'll also want to keep in mind that you want a shorter jacket to clear your gun belt when in full gear. I measure at 200#, 6’1”, 43” chest, 40” waist, 33” sleeve from middle of neck, and a 15.5” neck.
Cheers,

Hope you don't have too much trouble with the exchange. I've really enjoyed mine the few times I've worn it. The warm weather was coming in just as I got the jacket with the right pockets. Has anyone else had theirs for a while and been wearing it regularly, or does no one live that far North? I'm wondering how this leather ages and stretches/shrinks.

Alrighty, the brown-suit Santa came today with my exchanged Wings Legend Import Steerhide. Large Long- I'm 6'3, 210ish and extremely good looking. Here are outside shots, first two out of direct sun, third with direct sun on it:
Next is indoors with flash and fluorescent light above and behind me:
Now indoors with fluorescent light not blocked by me, and then with it directly under the light:
As far as fit and pattern details, I think Wings hit a home run with this one. The leather is the perfect weight; thin enough to 'flow' but not so thin it feels fragile. The leather on this one seems is more 'dusty' or has that suede kinda feel to it, whereas the first one I got with the jacked-up pockets was a smoother, 'slicker' finished leather, like what Wings' website pics show. I can live with the difference, and I suspect with wearing, the leather is going to smooth out and slicken' up on it's own. Nice light satin liner. As far as color, the two of me wearing it looks accurate to what I see on my screen, the other pics make it look lighter than it does in person.

Looks good Dude!
Now, you just have to wear it to bed for a few days to break it in, which is customary with this group
But seriously, enjoy it. It look like it fits perfectly and the pockets look a whole lot better.
My only suggestion is to wet the colar and form it with your hands until it lays like you want it to.
