Post by TREX »

Those light long handled jacka whips must be good for this?

I really like the double flips, I can hardly get one flip outta mine

Amazing, amazing work!

That one three crack pattern, in the first link at the :50-:52 second mark is awesome.
The way you transition the whip backwards into a crack, but on your other side and then back into another forward crack, very cool.

I've been learning that three crack pattern but my transition backwards is over the same shoulder as the two forward cracks (and not NEARLY as smooth or fast as you)...going to try your method this week. Would it be more difficult with an 8 foot whip?

After I saw these videos I myself have started to learn that pattern, both the one where it goes over his head, and the one

where he did a cattlemans, then a backward flick.

On the cattlemans - backward flick, I also ( after the backward ) do a forward flick then transition to whatever feels good at the

time, it's really fun :D

It is a really neat series of cracks and the first time I saw it was in Adam's 10 foot combo video.
I can perform the move both with a 10 and 8 foot whip, but I'm still getting used to it as I just learned it last weekend, and consistency is not the greatest right now, it goes from clunky to good to horrendous all within 4 or 5 attempts!

Thank you soo much for the nice words!
I think on that three crack pattern, I'm just doing a Ciro Crack with with a crack in the back too- well I can do these cracks with 5,6,7,8,9, & 10 footers- its all a matter of timing really, but I tend to like the 7 or eight footer whips for this - I guess its a matter of your own taste-

I'll have to make a video of some of the crack patterns I use allot- Sorry, I know I put up ton of videos, It's just I practice everyday & I usually video tape most it, so I have a ton of footage, & when I start getting ok at stuff I like to post a video- It's also a kind of log of my progression in whip cracking as well :)

Rex,
You've got nothing to be sorry about.
You've been working very hard to get where you're at and you deserve to show it off!
Besides, I love watching your videos.
