Close-ish trousers from Lands End

Post by nihil »

Not too bad I think. Pocket flaps, basic cut, color, extra soft cotton. But it's still cotton and not wool, and I doubt the drape is going to be remotely the same as with wool. But still, it could be a lot worse.
I'll probably get them, for everyday wear, and if I do, I'll take some snaps to share.

Nice find!

I think they are better looking than the LL Beans.
Let us know how accurate the sizing is.

I own two different pairs of chinos from Lands End, and both fit one size larger than what the size suggests, just like jeans.

Those look really good - I have LL Bean's "close enough" shirts (cotton poplin) and love them. These Lands End's might become my "close enough" pants. That grayish color looks perfect. And you can throw them in the washer. They also come in odd and even waist sizes - how great is that? Amazing that they have two rear flap pockets - haven't seen that detail on any pants in the past several years.
