My Alden 403 Boots Came Today w/photo

Post by wild_weasel »

Hello,

My Alden 403’s came today. I ordered them from http://www.theshoemart.com/alden-mens_i ... kboot.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; along with Alden Neutral Boot Cream and Alden Shoe Trees, they arrived at my APO Priority Mail after 11 days. I did a lot of research in the COW General Gear forum before choosing the 403 style boot in 9 ½ D (M). Normally size 9 ½ shoes are a ‘bit tight' on me while size 10’s tend to be ‘roomy’ especially in the heel pocket. Taking to heart the reports that Alden’s running ½ a size big I decided on 9 ½ over 10’s and am glad I did! They fit PERFECTLY!

Cheers,

Hey Weasel! May I ask what size width they are? Oh and is your screen handle a GI Joe reference?

@ Tex1272,

I ordered my 403's in size 9 1/2 D (M). My Avatar is a limited release, 1 of 250, Indiana Jones 10th Anniversary Event Decoder Pin http://www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/group.cg ... &pin=36822" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; released on the 10th Anniversary of the Indian Jones Adventure (Temple of the Forbidden Eye) at Disneyland, California in 2005. It is unique in that that center part rotates allowing you to decode the Mara writing in the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. My user name comes from my service in the United States Air Force where I worked on the F-4G Advanced Wild Weasel; an aircraft designed to locale and destroy enemy air defense radar systems.

Cheers,
