What is your favorite Indy professor attire? The four options listed below, one from each movie, are when Indy's professorial role is highlighted. I'll put up another thread for the Indy travel suits (part of the distinction is indicated by whether or not Indy is wearing his glasses). You can vote twice!
My personal favorite is the bow tie, shirt, and 3-piece suit of Last Crusade. The bow ties and colors are just classic to me. The TOD bow tie and tweed jacket are a close second. Although I really like the design of the 3-piece suit from Raiders, I don't care as much for the tie and general colors. I personally prefer the Crystal Skull bow tie and colors of shirt and suit a bit more (although I'm probably in the minority opinion there).
Personally, I can't stand the stitched belt panel at the back of the Raiders Marshall suit, so for me it has to be the Barnett 3 piece. The bow tie seals the deal.

See, for me, I like the belt panel, and that's what made it harder for me to turn down as a choice. I definitely agree about the bow tie.

IMHO, bow ties are both cool and scholarly. They're quintessentially professorial. Then again, I fully embrace my "nerdy" side. Now that I can tie them and wear them regularly (with no small influence from Dr. Jones), I may be a bit biased.
Actually, I think a bow tie would have looked great with the Raiders 3-piece suit. As much as I like shades of green, the circled pattern of the necktie from the Raiders 3-piece suit is my least favorite tie out of the entire series. But, that's just me.
