expecting custom wested soon...

Post by dresden »

Hey guys, I know the hero jacket is hot right now but I've never really been a fan of the raiders jacket, so I placed an order for a custom LC jacket with some specs I was originally gonna go for a magnoli but I'm buying a new car so I didn't have the 500 extra to play with, so I went with wested, alittle more economical plus I've done business with them before & always been satisfied. Anyway I asked for a few mods to make it more SA, 1) no hem stitch 2) back sleeve seam same as the front 3) top corner of the stormflap square not rounded 4) pockets 6tx6w set 2.5 inches from hem 5) no leather facings. 6) 7' long sidestraps I also asked for no inside pocket and a LC style collar I really don't know much about the LC collar so hopefully peter knows what I mean. But even if I get the CS collar I won't mind I like them both anyway. I got it authentic brown lamb skin, but I almost went with goat. I'm really hoping it comes out good. Ill post some pics when it finally gets here. Christopher

Those will be some tiny pockets, unless it's a fairly small size jacket?
Good idea with the placement though; 2.5" up from the hem should look just right.

Yeah I know about the pockets, I wear a size 36 jacket I'm skinny as a rail, but they should be fine, the pockets on my other jacket are 7' tall so one inch less should work perfectly.

I've seen others ask for this request too. Was the back sleeve seams not topstitched on the LC jackets?

Yep, no top stitch. It should look nice Abit more streamline.
