Straw Hat @ Target

Post by mcmanm »

Believe it or not, I picked up a decent looking straw fedora @ Target for $15. Nice full/tall crown with the best looking bow that ive seen on a hat for that price. I like the fact that the bash is soft enough to tweak it with water. Any suggestions?

Will do. Looks like the crown is 6" unbashed and the brim is about 2 5/8". Ribbon is 1 1/4".

I should be getting my custom Milan straw hat from Art Fawcett in the next couple of weeks. Can't wait. I would love to see pics of this hat as well!

Here are a few pics of the hat. Really like it for the price. If it gets trashed can always get another.

Yeah, that's pretty nice. I wouldn't wait on getting a couple more if the price is right and you like 'em. Next year you probably won't be able to find them.

Actually I should add:
I tried going to my own Photobucket Account Homepage and I'm seeing the same thing as when I try to *click* on mcmanm's Links...
So, it would appear that this is a Photobucket "housekeeping" issue.
Hopefully, once they've fixed it we'll be good to go.

hi Matt, I haven't seen the straw hat yet, but I did get to see some of your other hats and i must say they're pretty nice. Also, being local to you, ...you look very familiar. Perhaps i have seen you around town. If i may ask, what is it you do for work?

jlhampton

I'll try to get over to Target and see the new straw soon. I'm hoping that they will have it in the north side store. Most likely they will.
