Very nice Gio!
Now it is time for my standard question.......how long is the handle?
I'm also interested in your construction.
When you say "two layers of rolled filler", do you mean that you used two bolsters over the core strand instead of a plaited belly, or did you mean the core itself is two layers of rolled leather?
What is the diameter at the thickest part?
As usual, you are thinking "outside of the box", and I like it!

Re: New Little Raider 6ft saddle
hi Guys,
first of all thanks a lot for your positive feedback
About the internal construction:
the core it self is two layers of rolled leather.
over the core goes a belly made in 4 plait 3/4 long
over the 4 plaited belly there is a leather bolster and over the first leather bolster, i've put a short bolster (length of about half of the total length of the whip).
Unfortunately when I posted these pics I've already shipped the whip but I remember that the diameter of the thickest part (beyond the ring knot) was approximately 2.5 cm.
The handle is 8" long and the ring knot was placed at the end of the handle.
In my opinion, "thinking outside of the box " and build different models of whips helps and increase the know-how and creativity in the art of whipmaking.
So Mr. Morgan in "outside of the box", he founded the Australian style with the American one giving life to a style of whip that made history.
