Adventurebilt pictures

Post by beaverlid »

Cow doesn't have a whole lot of topics hitting the fedora section so I thought I might put this up for something for everyone to look at. This fedora is roughly 2 years old. It is my go to hat. I wear it everyday rain or shine. I wear it with formal attire and rugged attire alike. I feel naked without it. It started out as a AB CS beaver felt. I have done nothing but wear it and I think it has turned into a beautifully worn fedora. The ribbon is a little dirty and the liner has a small hole forming in it, but otherwise she is perfect. I wouldn't trade her for anything....

It looks really good on you...well proportioned to your face. It looks soft, loved and happy in that front shot. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing fedoras that are well worn.

Thanks for the kind remarks gents. :TOH: The fedora really is soft but solid at the same time. I am learning that is one of the great qualities of a beaver felt. She looks a little beat up and dirty but that is the way I like her. One day I will get Steve to clean her up, but for now I think I will leave it just like it is. Lived in.

Quality lid..... It looks lived in, but hasn't lost any of it's "soul"... Still clearly a CS hat.. Wonderful stuff.. And well worn by you!

Very cool photos... :TOH:

It is hard to get an AB to look like it isn't new out of the box. It has been said a thousand times on COW but I feel obligated to say it one more time; AB fedoras are as tough as they come.

Nice!! I love the brim swoop especially - it's almost a little Last Crusade looking!

Keep wearing that thing, man!

And those pics certainly agree with you.

Beverlid, I must say that is one of the best looking ABs I've seen on this forum. Definitely looks better than brand new. :TOH:
