Kevin...

Actually, it was my traps that were "crunched up"... The jacket just followed... I wasn't quite ready for the timer on the camera, and was still trying to get the position sorted...

If you look at the top picture of the back, that's me normally.. (Minus head of course..).. My back is rather wide.. While I appreciate the "_" comment.. This jacket fits me width wise perfectly, and from what I've seen of _, he'd need a couple more inches either side.. ;)

Trust me... Having bodybuilt since I was 15 and only recently changed that into Jujutsu (well.. Ongoing for the last 15 years but I've stopped weights for a year now.. Couldn't fit clothes in Japan..), I reckon I have a pretty good handle on the back and how much "flare space" I need to fill it.. ;)
(As an example, if I pull my lats forwards into front lat spread in the jacket it squeezes the sides tightly.. Pulling them forwards.. But normally it's just "snug"..) :)

Holt.. Give me a while, I'll get those measurements for you!

All the best..

Heya Holt...

These are rough answers, plus or minus a centimetre on them and you'll have a good idea I think? (I'm not good at measuring these things.. Hence why I drive people like Indy Magnoli insane worrying about the sizes... LOL)..

Measurement - Jacket - "True" size (me)

Armpit-Armpit - 66cm - 58cm

Half-shoulder - 29cm - 26cm

Full-Shoulder - 56cm - 50cm

Armhole - 26cm - 23cm

Bicep - 23cm - 20cm

I can't be 100% sure on the "me" results, as they were taken by a friend.. But they seem to fit pretty well with the jacket size... And the jacket sizes are all done by me, so, as I said, plus or minus one or two centimetres and you'll have a good idea..

Hope that helps!

Thanks Michael!

Yeah, I agree.. The flash bleached a lot of the colour out and makes it look somewhat lighter than I can see it here.. Under the fluorescent lighting in my kitchen it's brighter, but still not that light.. The bulk of it is dark brown leather, and the edges and seams are a lighter brown.. Sleeves too.. I think it looks best in sunlight.. Rich... :)

I wore it out for the first time down to Tachikawa, my city yesterday, and appreciated the "stop and stares"... It's also nice to have people smiling at you as they pass rather than looking angry at something I've done.. LOL.. Very satisfying..
That plus the response here makes me rather delighted with it all in.. Wested really did hit it out the park for me on this one.. And as a plus, they've also sent my mother some Sheepskin slippers in her size to "apologise" for the mess up with the shipping.. Excellent service all in all, and I'm very glad! \:D/

Great stuff from Peter and gang on this one, and I'm well chuffed.. :) :)

I'm glad I could help! Anytime mate! :TOH:

And I happen to agree with you.. Ford doesn't have such a flare to his back, but he has good natural shape and that is pushed out some by the Jacket in Raiders, and all the "good" jackets I've seen have had that in common, really good back panel shaping.. The best jackets from US Wings alls have that as well, and I was happy to see it for real in the Wested design too.. I'm glad that you agree, since in all honesty, having seen what you did with the "Holt specs" I know you KNOW about this... Seeing that jacket made me want this one... So, I owe you for that! :H:

Regards.

That's a gorgeous jacket. I'm going to be getting an LC/CS version myself some time soon.
