Adventurebilt on FedoraWay
I retired at the end of 2010 and one of the gifts that the City Of Eugene Or. gave me was my own Street Name sign. They know my love of fedora's so the sign was appropriate. The Adventurebilt is one Steve was going to keep for himself but I talked him into letting me have. I thought you all would get a kick out of the sign and also taking another look at the hat. I posted this at the fedoralounge so some of you may have already seen it.

Wow! That is an absolutely gorgeous lid!
It's wonderful that you got a street name sign! If they ever name a street after me, I'd pick Canyon Drive.

I'm lucky enough to have one of those sahara colored ABs, but I don't wear it nearly as well as you do, Fedora Lover. In fact, I don't think anyone on these boards wears a fedora as well as you do. I especially love that camel colored one you have, unless I am mistaken.

Dave,
Do you have any pics? I don't remember you mentioning a Sahara?

Re: Adventurebilt on FedoraWay
Well thank you. I had to go back and check the thread when I first got this hat and fedora called the color "Camel." I'm not sure if that's different than Sahara or not. Maybe Bending Oak could shed some light on the color difference if there is one.DR Ulloa wrote:I'm lucky enough to have one of those sahara colored ABs, but I don't wear it nearly as well as you do, Fedora Lover. Here's my other Adventurebilt. It's black and a little hard to photograph to get the color right.

Best part of this thread ... It's always great to see someone wearing a hat, and not the other way around, if you know what I mean. Great hats!!!
...and not too bad a tie, for that matter: looking sharp all around!

Love that jaunty angle you wear your hat at. Fine looking lids all around.
And congrats on being paroled from the 'daily grind'.
