what a load of BS.
Re: Indy jacket made for and worn by Harrison Ford...
I hate when these things happen. I just sent them an email. I hope others do too.
Re: Indy jacket made for and worn by Harrison Ford...
Isn't that the same jacket as discussed in these threads?

Yes, this is the exact same jacket that showed up in an ebay auctions several months ago. What a jack-wad! The jacket says 'INDY 1" on the inside lining. It is a Raiders replica made well after Crystal Skull. I sent a message to the seller telling him so. This guy is lying and trying to swindle anybody who might be interested.
What bites, is that it is a pretty desirable jacket otherwise, as I am assuming it was made by Tony, and his Raiders replicas are pretty scarce.

I'd love to get a close up look at the "signed photo" and see how bogus that is as well.

The internet is an ocean of wonder and sharks - that is a shark pool.
I love the fact it has labels - in every film I've worked on, IF the clothes are store-bought, the labels are almost always removed just in case the jacket is taken off, and for clearances, etc....

Its not Sparks. Its someone else that obtainted the jacket through TNO, and it was never called out as a "production" jacket or anything. Riley would be the best person to chime in on this.
Re: Indy jacket made for and worn by Harrison Ford...
I would never buy a jacket that's worth 11 grand. Even if it was worn by Harrison Ford himself.

Re: Indy jacket made for and worn by Harrison Ford...
Let me rephrase a little. The jacket in question is just a regular TNO Raiders jacket, nothing related to or in anyway made for an Indy production._ wrote:I don't know. When I blew the whistle last time, Sparks started sending me hate mail. There's some relationship between Sparks and Son-of-Tony...TheExit148 wrote:Its not Sparks. The jacket was made for someone who sent it back to Tony after distressing it, and calling him out saying it was garbage leather and to try and get another jacket. No dice from Tony. The jacket stayed at the shop, and then it had the lining switched out to remove the original owners name. Then it was traded from the shop, and then showed up on ebay. Riley intervened and the ebay listing was shut down. Now it resurfaces, on another site. It should be addressed and brought down. The seller is not Sparks, it is someone else. That's the last I'll mention the old user.

Looking at his web page, and other items on it, I now know I've been in his shop. It's in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. I even took a picture of another Indy item he has up, the grey suit worn in the last crusade. From what I remember, this suit looked too small for Harrison Ford. You figure if he has a store, it would at least have to be legit, and selling authentic and appraised items!

HOLY F___ING S___!!!!! First off, HI, I just got back from Columbus, Ohio and the Arnold Classic, been a while since I've been in here.
NO THIS IS NOT SPARKS' WORK
I was made aware of this fradulent listing yesterday by 2 people, and am shocked that this is happening again with the same jacket. I contacted the last person known to have the jacket and he claims to not have it any longer.....askerd him who does, and awaiting a response. I can't seem to get any contact info from the website for "Antique Internationals", the seller.
Anyone who has info, either an email, or phone number of the company, I will contact them immediatley and clear this BISHOP up. (email me nowakpadawan@aol.com)
Thank you all for being so diligent in protecting the small community we have.
Best regards,
Riley

Thanks, Riley! I hope you chase this thing down and get it stopped. If you get a reply and want to share what you've found out, please drop one of us a PM and we'll unlock this thread for you to post your findings.
Otherwise, that said, it's time to ring down the curtain on this one, as it's been proven to be a fraud, and the folks impacted by it have been contacted and are now involved.
Thank you all for your help.
Regards! Michaelson

Re: Indy jacket made for and worn by Harrison Ford...
As an update, Riley has been put in contact with the auction house owner, who was selling it for another party, and they are working it through. The auction has been pulled for now.
