Yes, pocket placement is whats wrong.

Just so you know, when I say "all longs" that's all she said. I'm not sure if she meant ALL longs or just all LARGE longs. :-k

Does Sarge have a direct e-mail address there? It's been about a week now since I sent my first message. :-k (and unfortunately no, phones aren't really an option for me at the moment...)

I was told by Myke today that XL long has the same issue.

Thats some pretty bad QC going on. They basically didn't adjust the pattern, just made it longer and kept everything else the same.

But I guess I wouldn't be surprised if some of these were still floating around in stock and being shipped out in hopes that not everyone will be as picky. It'd be smart if they at least kept those from going out to any COW members.
So far, my experiences with USW customer service have all been positive. Don't give up ;)
Very strange... Myke and I for the most part read all of our e-mail.. We however have not had the time to read all the posted COW threads due to the major demands of our US Military ! We are very sorry the issue with the size or your pockets may be more important as the supply of our troops in combat.. Please send your e-mail to info@uswings.com and we will answer any and all e-mails. PLease make sure to give us Your real name and e-mail for our records! From what I understand the Indy Style Longs have a slide rule pocket issue and do not meet your SA standards and soon will be taken care of.. either by a replacement or refund or taken off our site!!.Again we either will no longer offer longs in the indy jacket for those that feel this is an emergency due to the fact the longs are two inches off. Either way a very simple e-mail may work a lot better in the long run.

Thanks for sharing Sgt. I am hoping you could clearify something quick. When you said ".. either by a replacement or refund or taken off our site," by replacement do you mean the same jacket with corrected pocket placement or something else?

Does this also apply to the US made longs or only the import.

Yep, I just got my jacket and the pockets are way too high. It's a shame because this is a great jacket. And the fit is just about perfect.

Looks like they have been removed from the website. Nice to know for future people. I just hope that I am still getting a correct replacement assuming they are still getting in stock of corrected Longs.

I just got off the phone with Myke seconds ago. It sounds like they plan to fix the pocket issue and produce enough jackets to cover to original orders, but otherwise, there will be no imported longs. I did not ask for an ETA, but he said they'd be having some sort of meeting about it later today.

So what your saying nullifies Mark Brody's?
Or that it's only for future Imported Longs and not ones who already purchased and found out by accident?

I just got a tracking number for a US Wings package. Seeing as how I haven't ordered anything except the legend which I sent back for exchange, I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival. I'll post and update next week.

So...... I just got off the phone with US Wings. Legend Lamb longs USA made are finished! Just today! So now the jackets  need to go inspection and then they'll be shipped from Roz's factory to US Wings on March 16. Then US Wings will ship them on March 23! So that's the update for now.

Might be what's being sent back to. :#:

So far I have very little positive to say about this company at all. I thought I was buying a jacket from a high esteemed company. :#:

Sounds like they were working on it and some how Mark's was sent back too soon. Therefore they thought they would just send another. But you'd think Hack would be expecting it since he directly told him what to write on the package and was the first to bring up the issue.

Well, I hate to leave you in suspense, but out of respect for Hack's request to contact him before posting problems here, I'll wait until I get a chance to call tomorrow. All I'll say for now is that we still apparently don't have anything coming to us at this time.

Well, I DID get an email that Sarge sent out earlier today (first one in a long time, actually), and in it, he said that the pocket problems SHOULD be fixed on the Schott made longs in the Legend....

Maybe, if you didn't get one of those, the exchange will be made...

Maybe by "fixed" he simply means there's nothing wrong with them (even though there may have never been). The Schott jackets are the US made ones, right?
