US Wings Imported Legend Cowhide Regular size on sale??!?

I read in another thread about the Import Cowhide "Longs" being taken off the US Wings site due to the whole pocket placement issue and noticed that now the Legend Imported Cow "Regs" are on sale for $195! Don't the normally only mark down their jackets when they plan on not offering them anymore?

The kicker for me is that I *just* paid full price for my Legend Cowhide "reg" and recently sent it back to exchange for a different size. If I knew they were going to go on sale I would have waited.

The Long sizes were on sale as well. I paid $215 for mine.

From what I understood from Sarge's post over about the "Longs" was that they weren't going to offer the longs anymore because of the whole "pocket issue" but I wasn't aware of any issues with the regular Cowhides. In fact other than me just needing to go a size up the jacket construction of my large was perfect, no defects of ANY kind.

So, I guess I'm kinda confused as to what's going on.....Are the regs going to vanish too? What does that mean for me or anyone else that might be in the middle of exchanging their jackets?

I have no idea. I am about to contact Wings about returning my jacket for a corrected one (which I am told will be 4-6 weeks). I hope that is the case as I really like this jacket, but I can't stand the pocket placement.

I doubt the regs will vanish as I don't know of any issues with them. As for the longs, I don't know if they were taken off the site because they may no longer be available or because of the pocket issue (they may not want to take new orders till the issue is corrected). Best bet is to call Sarge or Myke. As for the price drop, that happened a week ago on the 22nd.

Didn't know that. Up until about an hour ago I hadn't been on the site since I ordered my jacket. Wow! They pretty much dropped the price right after I ordered mine....

Dont worry...they dont have em. They are on two week backorder....but they do have the US version for full price.

The only thing I was talking about was that I *just* noticed that the jacket I bought, and I'm in the middle of exchanging , went on sale shortly after I had originally ordered it. I was just wondering why Wings would lower the price on the jacket that quickly....

I never did hear anything back from Myke about why the jackets got marked down so quickly but I *DID* just get my XL Legend Import Cowhide regular in the mail and I'm VERY happy with how this one feels on me. A BIG improvement over the large......
