I'm sort of curious as to how much ride up difference (if any at all) there is in sleeve length between the Lamb and the Goat materials. Does one tend to ride up more than the other?
Also, I am about to recieve my G&B Goat Expo 44reg. and am wondering, when "fresh out the box" before any wrinkling of the sleeve takes place. Where should I expect the end of the cuff to be?
I don't want to think "hey this fits perfect" and then have it ride up so much that it looks like I stole my kids jacket.
Your input would be cherished.

Sleeve "ride up" question

You didn’t mention where the end of YOUR cuff hits. It’s usually recommended here that the Indy jacket hit the first knuckle of the thumb. If it’s much shorter than that, like the length of a suit which should come down approximately to the bend of your wrist, than it is likely too short.
I’ve had jackets in lamb, cow, and goat, (not all Indy jackets) and lamb has always had a tendency to ride up the most out of them all. I have not noticed any appreciable ride up on my goatskin G&B.
But it really is a matter of taste, if you have any question that you simply can't afford to lose ANY length at all no matter how small, than I would have second thoughts.

If you're concerned with the amount of "ride-up", I recommend applying a few coats of pecards lotion to the jacket. I have a US Wings jacket, who's previous owner (tips hat to the Dean of Michaelson U) applied 5 coats of the lotion and rubbed it in by hand. Those sleeve have practically no "ride up".
