Re: All I want for Christmas . . .
Mike is nearly finished. He forwarded a pic of one of my whips, and he is supposed to deliver the pair by February 24.
here's the pic he sent:
It's a 12 plait, roo hide 7 footer with 12" handle. Kind of a crappy photo, as the heavy shadow makes the handle look bigger than it actually is, but in general, the whip looks good in my opinion. The other whip is supposed to be the same, but he's not quite finished yet. I think making a matched pair has made him a little self-conscious. I told him to relax and just finish the darned things.
And check this out: I got this photo from Graeme:
My complete order, ready to ship. As Graeme has some serious financial problems, he says he needs another week to get the money together to ship them. I feel for the guy, but I'm very glad to see that he is doing everything he can to do right by his customers and himself. Bravo!

Great news Daren! Can't wait to see the full write up and pics when they all arrive.
Bravo,
I too have been contacted by Graeme and things are getting worked out.
It looks like I will still be getting the whip I've been waiting for after all.

Hi Daren,
I love those matched pair off Bernardo. Fantastic work as always. Also love the 7footer. Have fun with all of them my friend.

So, hard to believe as this may be, I still don't have my whips my Mike Brower. But, I just talked to him tonight, and both are done (or rather re-done, I should say), and he claims that I will be getting them by the end of the week.
What is this? Almost April? (I ordered them in JULY). I have a feeling that I won't get the whips by the end of the week, I will call him on Friday, and he'll say, "April Fools! The whips aren't done yet, brother. Maybe in another few weeks."

I don't think Mike will have to worry about anymore orders from members here after this is eventually concluded.
