Re: my video review of the toddscostumes.com fedoras
I had no idea the brim dimensions on Todd's hats were so different. I've never seen 3 inch front to 2.5 inch sides... and definitely not 3 inch front to 2.25 inch sides! They look like decent hats, but not something I could see myself wearing... But nice review none the less

Re: my video review of the toddscostumes.com fedoras
i guess different "hats" for different folks , lol. but i hope that others who may be thinking about their first hat have an option , so if you others have a review anbout your others hats by , delk, penman fedorareaidrs, ect post them up , so they can be informed ,
Re: my video review of the toddscostumes.com fedoras
I think the downtowner looks better on you... the brim dimensions suit your face better.

Re: my video review of the toddscostumes.com fedoras
I dont know if its because Im so used to seeing you in your downtowner, or because maybe you have a big head (no disrespect intended), but, on you, the DT looks 'right,' and the UT looks too small, in proportion t your face and head. Again, if I had seen you in the UT first and often, then my opinion might be reversed in that the UT would look 'right,' and the DT would look too big.

Thanks for the review. This is a great way to get an idea of what the hats are like, especially the less expensive ones since the ABs and Penmans get LOTS of press here.

Re: my video review of the toddscostumes.com fedoras
i'm glad it helped , i remember asking questions about the hats when they first became available from todds and no one knowing much about them , thats why i decided to at least give some info and let people see what they look like ,simndermot wrote:I was looking at both of these hats. I might suggest the natural lighting of the outdoors to 'show' the felt color, bashing and dimesions better. jmo.

well i hoped to enlighten some people on what the hats from todds look like , and it's your choice to make , have fun with whatever hat you purchase and from whomever builds it for you ,afterthedog wrote:Thanks for the review. i bought another of todds downtowners hats after they reduced the size of the crown and i like it , the hat i got is for my son for his birthday , but he didnt mind me trying it on for size....
my downtowner , on the left(which i got when they were first released some years ago) and the new one for my son on the right .
i may have to buy another one for myself ---lol

Looking better with that one, I'd say, indyclone. Those dimensions suit you much more than the other.

How'd you get that nice top crease on your old one? Mine kinda flattens out a tad in the back (almost tear-drop-like).indyclone wrote:
