See I got this spot on my hat???

Well on the top I have it covered with light brown almost tan and I think it is dirt but it covers the top and I have brushed the hat but can't get it off. I was wondering can you all suggest anything I can do yo get rid of it. I have even used some steam and brushed it at the same time.

Steam?! I hope you haven't 'set' the stain doing that!

Never use steam for cleaning felt.

I did a search and came up with 169 hits on hat cleaning.

Thanks Michaelson I steamed it a little on the underneath of the brim and had no result for there are a few spots there.

Any pic's, I had some issues w/my AB, look for my post about cleaning with Naptha. In the end I had to send it to Steve for a complete over haul. Since then my issue hasn't returned and she's a thing of beauty.
