Re: Post your HJs here!
Hi there HJ fan, good post. Here are 3 shots of my HJ. As mentioned in a different post, the felt on this hat seems very durable. I had another HJ which was a size 60 and to big for me which was older. I also attach some pictures of this hat which I sold on ebay a couple of years ago. It looks very Temple of Doom when I look back at the pictures now.
cheers

Great hats stones! And I definitely agree with you on the 2nd one, it looks very TOD. Where did you get the first?

Hi HJF
Thanks for that. I found the first one on ebay about 10 months ago. It had been bought originally from Swaine Adeney in London as it still had the tags and wrapping paper with it. I'm really pleased with it and dispite what many people say about the HJ, it seems to be a very durable felt. A lot of people have remarked that they are the same hats as the Christy's Adventurer. I also had one of these a little while ago, and I can definately say that they are not the same felt at all. This seems to be a much better quality hat and the felt is a lot thicker than the felt on the Adventurer.
regards

Hey my friend,
The HJs were the brand that started it all! Can't argue with the genuine article! Yes they may taper under certain conditions, but they are THE hat.
