First, sorry for my english. I’m an Indy fan from Spain. I bought a Wested jacket several weeks ago. A few days later I asked them if I could upgrade the order and include the pants and the shirt. They told me that I must order apart and they will refund me the postal costs and so I did. Also, I sent my sizes and Gemma told me that my trousers size was 38 or 40, so I ordered a 40. One month later I received just the jacket and several weeks later the rest. The pants are too big, they don’t refund me the shipping cost and what's worse they don’t respond any of my emails. Papypal don’t protect this kind of situation outside ebay.
Thanks for listening; I just wanted to warn you about THIS great costumer support. Cheers.
I just purchased a Wested Raiders jacket and had no problem with communicating. I asked a question after my order was placed and received a prompt response. I'm confident you will resolve your issue.
I agree with Dawg here. It's always best to go to the source.
I'd just like to add something to this thread, I know this place is a great sounding board to go off on to get answers. It's also a place where negativity invites more negativity. As we've seen in threads before problems like this tend to bring out the worst-case scenarios from the wood work. So, let's try not to sharpen any axes today folks
...and desahuciados best of luck with this and welcome aboard!!!
Oh, by the way-I sent a link to this thread to Peter via his PM account here....something that anyone here can do as an additional method of contacting him directly.
Email is just not always the most effective way to contact him.
We've always dropped a vendor a PM to make them aware of a situation post if/when we're aware of one existing, John. Nothing has been 'started' at all, but we're glad you approve.

Second, Wested is notorious for communication issues - not always their fault - so it's best to persist or try to call them on the phone.
It seems Wested have no trouble with email/internet when it comes to taking your order.
It's contacting them once they have your money that can prove difficult.
This thread reminds me of the Todd's gloves complaint thread.
* "I have an issue with a vendor, and they did not respond to my mail."
* A bunch of other people pile on.
* Someone says "did you call them?"
* Followed by silence from the original poster.

Silence? To be fair, he did only reply yesterday...?
Hi again (I'm from Spain and due to time difference, a few hours ago)
I don't phone them because my spoken english is terrible and I think I can't explain them the situation correctly and it's very possible that I can't understand what they say. Thanks again for all your comments.
If you'd like help with working this out, just pm KT Templar (who frequents Peter's shop), me, or possibly another moderator...all WE can do is further contact the vendor for you...I've sent Peter PM's to make him aware of your situation, but I've not personally seen him on in the last few days...so, he likely just doesn't know.
Just keep trying, is the best advice I can personally give right now....

I'd still recommend you give it a shot. Without at least making a personal attempt to call leaves that door closed to you for resolution.
I bought a Raiders jacket about a month ago and no news, I wrote to Gemma and she does not respond, it's bad, she did not clarify any doubts I had with sizes.
Some of the smaller roads have not been gritted so are like ice rinks, so a lot of cars are stuck. We don't usually get enough snow to warrant snow chains or snow tyres. This may change!
We really do fall apart in the UK whenever a flake of snow falls. I've been getting courtesy calls all week warning me that my deliveries will be several days late. Come spring we'll forget about the existence of snow and act all surprised when it starts to fall again next winter.
I have never had a problem with wested in terms of their product or customer service. Although I bought my Raiders custom over a year ago, I still get responses to other jacket questions.
I'm sure things will work out, but please keep us posted.
I sure hope this isn't a glimpse of how the rest of your winter is going to be!
All right thinking people leave the UK for the winter (if only to avoid laughable complaints about the ferocity of the weather when it's no more than a few degrees below zero with a light dusting of snow). 3 weeks more baffling hyperbole and I'll be free - provided the airports don't shut down on account of the weather turning 'fierce mild'.
