Replica S&W 1917 options and experiences?

Post by Clutters »

What the current options for a resin or similar S&W? Much as I'd like to get the real deal or even Todd's blank firing version, Australian Customs appears to be all over anything that could resemble a gun. Pretty soon this country will outlaw us from making the gun shape with fingers and thumb

I've done a bit of trawling through these forums, but I can't find much in the way of up to date details on what is out there. Ideally, I would be able to buy an orange or blue resin S&W. Any tips?

Wade Egan has been working with making some resin replicas and has done some in blue or orange resin for overseas shipping.
