Vintage suitcase
Well, it's a early 20th century suitcase (made in China) that I think looks kinda good with my gear. Not sure I'd be brave enough to actually travel with it as it's far from light weight!
Stickers are some repro and some vintage

Check out eBay for both repro and genuine. Just search for vintage travel stickers I thinkTexan Scott wrote:djd,

You can also buy several sheets on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Old-Fashioned-Lug ... =8-1-spell
VERY nice suitcase! I own a similar one (with belts, yours still show the belt loops) and found out that one or two times of handling by airport staff gives it just the right "patina".
Plus: girls do pay attention when after they first notice your luggage on the baggage carousel, pointing out this "nice vintage suitcase" to thier friend you turn up in a old fashioned suit and a Fedora to pick it up.
Great piece you have there - and yes, it matches the gear perfectly!

Re: Vintage suitcase
Very nice suitcase, djd - love the well-worn look. I only just now found this thread today, and it looks like I was channeling your brainwaves! I just finished up this suitcase prop last week for an upcoming Indy spoof:
Stickers were printed from internet images, carefully trimmed and attached with 3M spray glue - sharp eyes will spot a couple of Air East Asia labels from Indy & Marion's trip from Nepal to Cairo.
