PBB Global - How Long?

Post by SWTroopers »

I received my jacket from Peter the first week of November, but have yet to get a duties bill from PBB Global. Did I get lucky and dodge the bullet? Can I chalk this up to my charmed life, or is that mack truck just around the corner??? Just think of all the Taco Bell I can buy with that duty money!!!

Got my Wested on Dec. 26th, got my PBB Bill in mid to late January. Sounds like you may have lucked out on this one.

It can take more than three months to get this bill now. I know, Shalimar
helped me out with my PBB troubles awhile ago.

I was getting PBB bills about every two months for jackets I didn't even
receive because they thought my return jackets were new jackets.

But, anyway, I would think that if you don't get one by the three month
mark, that you are still not out of the woods. They can get you at any
time in a one year period for your purchase.

After 12 months, you are no longer required to pay the customs fees, or
duties involved with the purchase as it will no longer be in that taxable
year of purchase.

So, you still have about 9-10 months to go before you can say that you
dodged anything when it comes to PBB.

For my first jacket it took a couple months. For my second jacket, it was here in a couple weeks.
