crack in the leather

Post by Holt »

Hi guys,

I was unlucky. I was wearing one of my horsehide jackets yesterday while lifting something heavy and by accident it dropped and it came down my chest and cut it self into the leather by just alittle. there was something really sharp on that box that I did not notice. The cut did not go all the way thru, but it still left a clean cut in the protective dark finish coat.....it looks like a scratch done by a cat but deeper and cleaner. I can barely see the leather fibers in the crack if I pull it just alittle.. the whole scratch is about 2'' long

now, what is the worst that can happen if I leave it just like this over time? remember this is horsehide.

yah, I guess..

I glad I was alone when it happend and my bud not there watching me freak out over a ''cat'' scratch.... haha. must have looked like a fool and... I was..lol.

I guess I just need to get used to it and not worrying about it cracking further and all the way thru over time, that was my main concern..

Thanks my friends.

and yeah, the beat up X jacket is AWESOME. the first one is THE jacket to me. Im allready saving alittle up for one.

What, all normal people have two eyes, ten fingers, ten toes, and a scar where they removed the tail, right? ...Right?

Reminds me of one of my favorite non-Mulder X-Files - Patience. Creepy & fun!

Mmmmm. Season 8. So underrated...
