It's actually called a Holt Roundhouse kick.

Oh, by the way...my SIZING actually is NOT the issue...I just want to make sure the little details get done right...the FIRST time...so the question becomes...who can deliver the best quality leather and who has the best track record for nailing one-off custom orders from someone who knows EXACTLY what they want and are not going to be satisfied if they don't get it...

There IS an "evil" side to the 'Dawg, guys...contrary to my normal attitude....

Like I said...part of me WANTS Peter to do the jacket....but another part doesn't really care who does it as long as it's done right and I don't have to sell a kidney to afford it.

Regards!

I have a Wested LC from around 2002. It is nothing like a LC movie jacket. Like all Westeds, it is simply their version of the Raiders jacket but with snaps. At that time they were still claiming they made the ToD jacket and that the only difference between it and a Raiders was an extra inch in length.

I personally doubt that Wested ever made any jackets used in the movies but that's my cross to bear.

On a positive side - I have seen Westeds that look as close to an LC as is possible. And that is only when the order is made using very specific specs, etc.

When the Westeds are good they are excellent and closer to the LC than any Nowak - in my opinion.

So it's a strange jacket world.

Wait wait...are we done with the Holt game yet?

Ahem....

Holt doesn't go hunting, he goes killing.

If Holt punched you in the face, you would have to resist the strong urge to thank him.

Sharks have a week dedicated to Holt.

Alright, I'm done. Carry on.

I don't remember who posted it, but a member here had Nowak make him a "Struzan" Indy jacket, based on the cover art for the Indiana Jones novels. It had to be one of the coolest jackets I have ever seen! Now, you want the perfect Indy jacket, and so far, it sounds like Magnoli is the best man for that job, as you are asking for a custom jacket. So, since "perfect" is purely subjective, I want to know what would make an Indy jacket, the perfect jacket for you. From fit and features, to leather.

What I liked about the "Struzan" jacket was that is was so completely original. Only a die hard Indy fan would know where it came from. Truly one of a kind.

Ah, the 'Struzan'! :) Thank you, Weston, Tony really brought that one right to life, with only those covers to go from! I only really hope I'm not the only one to ever own of those beauties!

But I must say, I think one of the coolest die-hard fan jackets would be Michaelson's 'Fedora' jacket... Perfect for the mentoring role he's always had on these plains! Heck, all the CoW admins here should have one! :TOH:

Ah, the TN Struzan. I do love that jacket. I said at the time if I were to get a jacket from Tony it would have been a Struzan, but in black. Sigh...

Dawg, if there is any assistance I can provide with specs from my jacket I'm happy to help out with measurements, detailed pics, etc.

And, for the sake of saying it, if you are chasing your holy grail of jackets I'm echoing what others are saying and go with Magnoli. I can appreciate the allure of the Wested label on the inside, but there are too many threads in recent years where jackets ordered with details specs came back way off the mark. Sounds like you had the same experience 6 years ago...

Looks like Todd's is once again a contender in the custom jacket department.
