just to let you know you are not allowed to post live ebay auctions on indygear. So that the people bidding have a better chance at getting it at a reasonable price rather than, people looking at that link and saying, o gee insted of spending my money on a fed, ill get this propgun.

That IS pretty lame. These guys are killing me. I was checking out that gun, too.

This has already been said, but Thefumegator, do you understand that when you post an auction here, it ruins peoples chances that may have lucked into that auction. Now everyone know it's there, and there is the
possibility that a bidding war will start between our members here.

This can ALL be avoided by reading the guidelines.

We've had some serious isuues with people posting auctions very recently. More often than not, it gets pretty heated.

Maybe the powers that be can put in some kind of Pop up, that won't allow access, unless you check through the guidelines. Or email them out to all the members, again. When I joined back in October, I was told to look over the guidelines, and I'm sure everyone else was, too.

I can understand getting excited, and wanting to be a part of this group, and I've got to tell you, this is the best forum I've ever been on.
Most of our members handle themselves like complete gentleman.
Oops, and ladies, too. Can't forget them.

But we have to start following the rules. Maybe if it persists, individuals can be banned for a short time. I'm not talking about The Fumegator, because he probably didn't realize he was doing anything wrong, but I'm sure when he reads this thread, he'll understand our point.

I'm talking (typing)WAY too much,
but let's get it together, huh?

P.S. As an added note, since it looks like all the people who responded to this, sans Indiana James, all went through this recently, so how about we all agree, that when we see a post for a new member introducing themselves, someone welcomes them as usual, with open arms, AND give them a friendly reminder to read over the guidelines carefully, and while visiting, to adhere to them to the letter. They will enjoy the stay much more.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled griping.

Here, here! I'm with you. So the "newbies" don't feel put-off when someone jumps on their post of an auction, I agree we can try to help them out BEFORE it happens.

This auction finally ended, and it went for $132.50
Pretty high for what it was, but I think it had a little help.
