My Christmas present to my father was a new Wested jacket. He has been wanting one since 1981.
Peter did a fantastic job with the measurements I sent to him. We requested it to be slightly longer in length, original lambskin, LC, satin lining.
Many thanks to him and his staff for another outstanding creation.
High Regards,
Pyro.

That was a very cool idea getting him a Wested. If he's been an Indy fan from way back,, I bet he was thrilled.
Did he have any idea, or did you suprise him?

He knew. We ordered it because I came home and he had my jacket on looking at himself in the mirror.
That's when I said, "Come on! Let get you your own jacket."

By "original" lamb you mean authentic? If so, it really does photograph dark, which goes back to the whole color/lighting thing. I thought it was dark lamb at first glance...

Oops. Guess that's why it looks darker, huh?

The jacket looks great...it fits him like a glove.
When are you giving him the hat?

Don’t be surprised if next holiday season or special occasion time you find your father looking in the mirror wearing one of your fedora’s (accidentally on purpose) assuming he doesn’t already have one.)
