Adventurebilt outdoor pictures

Post by beaverlid »

These are a handful of pictures taken of my AB. It shows off the color in the outdoor light and one of the pics shows the great work Steve did on the ribbon. This fedora is roughly a year old. It gets worn everyday. I have not altered the bash or brim other then to wear it. It has the CS bash Steve crafted when he made it. Enjoy!

I appreciate your kind words Ian. I wear my hat to work everyday. I never leave the house without it. I always grab my wallet, car keys and fedora. I will say that I look forward to the cooler months. I live in Virginia, USA, and it gets rather hot and humid here. It will be more enjoyable and comfortable to wear my fedora everyday in the fall and winter.

That hat has broken in so well, as I was wondering how these CS hats would look after a year or so of wear. Looks better now than when I shipped it to you. That is the good thing about the very full CS block. It can taper a bit yet still look straight as a Raiders fedora.

No one would mistake that for a non Indy fedora that is for certain. Thanks for letting me see how yours had held up. And keep wearing those fedoras! Gotta add some class to the world of fashion. Fedora

Good pics, BL! I noticed you have a stonehinge as well? Or is it foamhinge? The cool thing about these hats is that they start to mellow and look even better with age. The felt on mine started to lighten a little and begin to really take on the look.

This site I am at is "Foamhenge." I was looking throught the section on COW that chronicles Cow members travels and adventures and I saw where twilekjedi went to this foamhenge. It turns out I didn't know about it and it is only about 40 minutes from me. Very cool site. I am very happy with how this fedora is breaking in. I can't wait to see it in 5 years, 20 years and so on.
