MK VII bag is stiff

Post by Tully305 »

Hi all,

I got one of the old bags from WPG in the mail yesterday and it was a little stiffer than I imagined it being. Any tips on how to loosen it up (do I just need to use it often?) I remember I had an old Vietnam issue backpack in grade shool that was super soft.

Hi

You could try washing it at a low temperature. That and using it should do the trick ;)

or if you have a dryer then give it a spin without heat. just fill it up with tennis balls. or shoes for that matter.

1 hour should do.

Bath tub with cold water. Soak for 45 minutes.

Use it every day to carry your lunch and phone in.

Or head down south to Peru and have a little trek.

Or stuff some large oval shaped stones in it and dangle from a collapsed rope bridge while struggling with a large bald man with white teeth.

Or find yourself on a ship stuck in a storm while you have a golden cross hanging out of it. This would probably work a little like the above suggestions of washing it or soaking it in a bath tub.

Anyway, enjoy your purchase and have some great adventures.

Cheers

Sebastian
