Tony Nowak 213/777 Crystal Skull Jacket

Post by jnicktem »

I just purchased a Tony Nowak CS jacket 213/777 from a fellow member here and I was pretty hopeful that it was my size. I just received it today... and what a gorgeous jacket! Now I know why everyone has such high praise for Tony's jackets. And yes, this jacket was made by the great man himself- Tony Nowak.

As for the sizing- it is a little smaller on me than I would like. But thats okay! I am not looking for a SA fit- just a jacket that fits. I like how this jacket fits me! Sure- it would be nice if it was a little longer in the body and sleeves. But oh well! I still like it!

And sorry about the bad pictures... they are the best I can do without an actual photographer.

I would like to add that the sleeves are not that short on me- when my arms are relaxed the sleeves reach my thumb.

Thank you! Yes I have been after a Nowak since the beginning. Not long after placing my order for an Adventurebilt Deluxe back in September of '08 I have been looking at getting a Nowak... and I never thought that one day I would have 2 Nowaks! I have this one... and one on order with Riley!

hey buddy, Im glad you got you Nowak jacket you have wanted for some time. From the back it looks great and the other two action shots look fine but the first one is bugging me a little. I think it might be the bag. Can you take a front shot without the back? maybe one zipped up?

No big thing buddy. I'm thinking that the bag strap maybe pulling the jacket a bit and that's why it might look a little small from that first shot.

Great jacket. I like better the trimer fit this one has on you. Looks much more raiderish.

Here are a couple of shots of me wearing the jacket with it zipped up. It's tough getting a good shot with bad lighting and no photographer... but hopefully everyone can get an idea.

Thanks for putting up with me on the pics J. The strap was pulling it and making the sleeves look shorter than what it is.

Thanks everyone! And yeah I think you're right Oak- that's what I get for wearing the bag on the OUTSIDE of the jacket! :CR:

Hummm. You could have discovered the reason the sleeves on Ford's jacket were a longer than usual, and why HE wore his bag on the outiside in CS! :-k  ;)

VERY nice looking jacket, my friend! :M:

I don't think I discovered anything at all. Its the proper way to fit a jacket. Jackets sleeves should fit lower than the wrist when the arm is hanging down in a relax position ( above the thumb).

Thanks! I wouldn't touch your Nowaks if I were you.... they are PERFECT the way they are! Your CS jackets are some of my favourites!
