Oh, come on, John, I'm sure you can produce an even BETTER SA leather hat.

If you freeze frame during the Well of Souls scenes, you can clearly see the word "Peru" is stamped into Indy's hat way more times than on this one...binkmeisterRick wrote:Oh, come on, John, I'm sure you can produce an even BETTER SA leather hat.

There is something oddly compelling about that hat.
I know it's horrible and all that, but it has some weird super kitsch vibe going on.

Laugh all you want, but here's a photo of me wearing that hat IN Peru! That's a Petzl headlamp on my head, as it was 4:00 am. At any rate, it's better than a Dorfman Pacific!

You know, I was half tempted to make a joke about you having that hat in lieu of a DP, but who knew I would've been right? I have to say, it looks like it's doing a good job in that pic. You wear it well!

How hot was that to wear, maboot?
Any leather hat I've ever tried to wear has been AWFUL for me due to the built up heat!

I wouldn't wear it in high humidity, but remember that in the Cuzco area of Peru, you're at 11,000+ feet, so even when it is 80 degrees in the sun, you can still have a crisp breeze. The seams on the hat are not so tight, so you do lose some heat through it, especially right in the front.Michaelson wrote:How hot was that to wear, maboot?

Not a hat for Atlanta, that's for sure!
