My first whips cracking videos!

Post by pmgilmer »

Here are my first attempts at my whip collection demo videos. The "Golden DM" makes her first appearance too... good work, Bernardo! :notworthy: Stay tuned for an article on this particular design. It's now my favorite and best preforming whip!

Nice looking whips! They all crack nicely too. Joe's and Bernardo's whips are always great. Did you go to a park or is that your house? Good videos ;)

If you didn't write that golden whip is mady by Bernardo, I'd say it's really David Morgan bullwhip. Bernardo, top notch job!

I know, right? He nailed it! I was very specific on the details of how it had to look and behave. We're working on the article now, so hopefully it will be up soon.

Paul

Congratulations for your new DelCarpio whip. Looks like very heavy and dense.

Nice videos.

OK, you have your 9ft Strain in one hand and your 9ft Bernardo Golden DM in the other you HAVE to pick one to keep and one to get rid of or some one is going to blow up your car (had to pick something fairly nefarious  ). WHAT DO YOU DO?!?!?

Travis
NOTE: this is an attempt to find out which whip you like the best without eliciting the typical, "I love all my children the same, just in different ways" response. :whip:

LOL... I love the Strain whip, but I'd save the Golden DM. It is easier to crack and has a more fluid feel when you throw it. It's pure butter and puts a smile on my face when I crack it. The Strain is GORGEOUS (I'm a sucker for that saddle tan color), but I wouldn't order another one longer than 8ft, or in the Raiders style. I'd rather go with a 7ft Lone Stars, or a custom design I'm working on that I feel takes better advantage of Joe's method and style. My statement is this: If you want a top of the line whip of the highest quality construction, it's hard to beat a Strain, but if you want the best Morgan style whip out there today, Bernardo is your man. That's just my opinion. I'm very eager to order new whips from Joe in the near future, but when I want the best "Morgan" I'll call Bernardo.
