Go with 44 size, Wested jackets have 4 inches of free room in chest and that's enough to wear thick jumper beneath. In 46 you will have 6", and I think it's too much for Indy Jacket, at least for me ;)

You are similar size to me (44R not Long, although maybe considered Long in the sleeve), same sleeve length as me too... From Wested go for a 26 inch sleeve length and hope for the best as they will probably show up a tad shorter in their sleeves. But have them leave the body at a standard shorter length, 24" for Raiders or 25" for Last Crusade on your height, then hope for the best there as well since they tend to show up a bit longer in the body.

Definitely a 44. I have a 45 chest and my Wested is a 44 and it fits.

They want your true size then they add to it. A 44 jacket is not 44 inches around the chest, it's more like 48-50 depending. My 44, zipped and measured across the pits from seam to seam is 24 1/2 or 49 inches, total. If its going to be a custom and you want a little more room, you might mention that in the 'Special Requests'. A "little more room" might be an extra 2 inches, or so. To me, 50 total inches would be a "relaxed" 44.

A 44 wested will fit you great in the chest, I have yet to see a problem with their chest measurements in my personal experience...it is always length problems to be warry of.
They have a decent LC look, so just go for the custom lengths in sleeve and torso as stated earlier and you should hopefully get a decent jacket.
I can show you examples of how I got a good CS look w/ wested if you would like to see results of a similar situation on someone w/ a similar frame.

If you are getting a custom (made-to-measure), your height should be a non-issue. Just specify the back length of the jacket and give your height and weight. Wested should do the rest. I think the four inches of room they include is perfect.
